Staff of Teldeniya Covid treatment facility demand vaccine

KANDY –

The staff of the Teldeniya COVID treatment hospital staged a demonstration during the lunch break yesterday (01) demanding that all of them be inoculated against Covid-19.

The protesting staff members said the vaccine had been administered to only about 60 percent of the staff members.   If the authorities failed to respond to their call, the demonstrators warned that they would resort to trade union action.
