SriLankan Airlines cabin crew felicitated by NSB

In recognition of International Women’s Day, SriLankan Airlines cabin crew members were recognized for their unwavering service in repatriating stranded citizens from the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in Wuhan, China. The National Savings Bank dedicated International Women’s Day to appreciate the outstanding role played by front-line workers who overcame adversity during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Among those heroic ladies were Jenali Jansz (Cabin Service Supervisor) and Amali Hettiarachchi (Senior Flight Attendant) from the Inflight Service Delivery department of SriLankan Airlines. These patriotic and loyal staff members volunteered to operate Flight UL1423, the airline’s mission of mercy that brought back our students from Wuhan, China, on Saturday 01st February 2020. This was among the first repatriation flights operated by SriLankan Airlines to bring back stranded Sri Lankan citizens.
