Sri Lanka’s largest women’s exhibition ‘Femina Women’s Expo 2024’ from 8-10 March at BMICH

Femina Women’s Expo 2024, Sri Lanka’s largest women’s exhibition, is ready to deliver an unmatched inspirational and educational experience for women from 8th to 10th March 2024 at the BMICH Colombo. This unique event is dedicated to honouring and celebrating Sri Lanka’s women and coincides with International Women’s Day 2024 which is marked worldwide on 8th March.

Organized by Evolution Events and Corporate Services (EECS) and held under the theme “Celebrating Women”, Femina Women’s Expo 2024 promises to be an exciting event for female empowerment, creativity, and innovation. The event aims to create a significant impact for women by exploring new prospects, discovering new ideas, broadening horizons, building corporate connections and paying tribute to the strength and achievements of women in Sri Lanka.

Several leading entities including NGOs, women’s organisations, and social service organisations have come forward to support the event, demonstrating their commitment towards the growth and development of women in Sri Lanka. Additionally, many of Sri Lanka’s leading companies, brands, products and services catering exclusively to the female population have partnered with the event.

Femina Women’s Expo 2024 will empower women by providing a one-of-a-kind platform for them to showcase their talents, businesses, and achievements. The event will celebrate and highlight the outstanding achievements and contributions of women across various fields including arts, science, business, and social activism. It presents an unrivaled opportunity to facilitate networking and collaboration among women from diverse backgrounds, fostering connections that can lead to future partnerships and initiatives.

It will help raise awareness about women’s issues, challenges, and opportunities, providing guidance for both education and careers. There will also be a focus on women’s health and wellness, offering latest information, interactive workshops, and resources on physical and mental well-being. Women’s rights and advocacy will also be covered with key issues such as gender equality, equal pay, reproductive rights, and gender-based violence addressed. Women Entrepreneurs will find the event an inspiring one that is full of resources, advice, and support for women looking to start or grow their own businesses.

Femina Women’s Expo 2024 will include an Entrepreneur Zone, an exclusive shopping market with a wide range of ladies products, food, clothing, shoes, jewellery, accessories and many others by female entrepreneurs. In addition to this, the event brings several other zones including Free Counselling Zone, Gaming Zone, Career Guidance Zone, and Entertainment Zone as well as an open stage for various activations. Visitors can enjoy an array of activities including awards, felicitations, fashion shows, competitions, talent shows, networking sessions, cultural performances, special guest performances, live entertainment, product demonstrations and brand activations. Overall, the event will provide 3 days of diverse exhibits with over 130 stalls by more than 100 exhibitors covering 50+ industry segments. Overall, it is expected to attract more than 12,000 female visitors across the 3 days.
