Sri Lankans in Kuwait donate medical equipment to Castle Street Hospital

Representatives of the Kuwait-Sri Lanka Unity Association and senior hospital staff at the handing over of the donation

Kuwait – Sri Lankan Unity, an association of Sri Lankans working in Kuwait, recently donated medical equipment worth more than Rs 2.5 million to the Castle Street Hospital for Women, Colombo 8. The donation was handed over to Dr. L.P.C. Saman Kumara, Consultant Neonatologist of the hospital, by Mohamed Nasser Imran, a member of the Association, Daya Lankapura, Sri Lanka coordinator of the Association, and Dhammika Wijeratne. Dr Pradeep Wijesinghe, Director of the hospital and Journalist Indrasiri Suraweera were also present on the occasion.
