Sri Lanka unchanged for second T-20

Sri Lanka opted to play an unchanged side in the second T-20 International against India in Pune on Thursday. After the two run loss in Bombay in the first game, Sri Lanka were expected to draft in Avishka Fernando, but they have backed the team that played the opening match.

India, meanwhile, did two changes. Rahul Tripathi is making his debut while Arshdeep Singh is returning to the side having missed the first game due to illness. He is replacing Harshal Patel. Tripathi, the 31-year-old top order batter is coming in place for Sanju Samson, who had been ruled out of the series with a knee injury.

Tripathi became the third oldest player to debut for India in T-20s after Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar. The third and final T-20 International will be played in Rajkot on Saturday.
