Sri Lanka stands to benefit from President’s visit to the United States- Ruwan Wijewardene
Speaking at a press conference held at the Presidential Media Centre today (25) under the theme Collective Path to a stable country, Presidential Adviser on Climate Change Ruwan Wijewardene said that the nation stands to benefit significantly from President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s recent visit to the United States.
He said that in addition to attending the United Nations General Assembly session in New York, which focused on ‘Climate Change and Sustainable Development Goals’, the long-term friendship between the United States and Sri Lanka, along with the positive relations with other world leaders, were further reinforced during this visit.
