Sri Lanka represents IFPSM World Summit 2023 in Italy

The World Summit of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM), was held in Florence, Italy on 22 and 23 September 2023. It served as an exclusive Procurement and Supply Chain Management forum and the ideal venue for exchange of knowledge and best practices between both public and private sectors. The event was attended by front line national and international speakers from the economic and industrial world.

President ISMM Jayantha Gallehewa attended the event representing Sri Lanka and the Institute of Supply and Materials Management.The World Summit 2023 was conducted under the theme of “Procurement to Lead Innovation and Value Capture while Coping with Inflation, Shortages and Geopolitical Instability”. Over thirty speakers from four continents addressed the forum on key issues of Procurement and Supply Chain Management.Council Members of ISMM, Vice President, Lilantha Subasinghe and Treasurer, Dharshana Wijemanne comprised the delegation.
