Sri Lanka needs to take tough decisions – US Ambassador

Sri Lanka would have to take tough decisions to access US financial assistance, US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung told the Eastern Province Governor, Anuradha Yahampath.Ambassador Chung also said the US is ready to assist Sri Lanka through the IMF as well.

Ambassador Chung met Governor Yahampath during her visit to the East.Governor Yahampath asked Ambassador Chung to provide assistance without demanding cuts to free education and healthcare in Sri Lanka.
