Sri Lanka launches Suwadharani International Ayurveda magazine

Sponsored by Bio Extracts famed for ‘Baraka’ Ayurvedic herbal medicine

Suwadharani International Ayurveda magazine, which aims to highlight Sri Lankan Ayurvedic practices to a global audience, was launched at Temple Trees recently.

Ministers Namal Rajapaksa, Dinesh Gunawardena, Bandula Gunawardena and Pavithra Wanniarachchi, State Minister Sisira Jayakody and the senior management of Bio Extracts (Pvt) Ltd took part in the launch ceremony.

The magazine is fully sponsored by Bio Extracts (Pvt) Ltd that produces ayurvedic herbal medicines under the brand “Baraka”.

The Suwadharani International Ayurveda magazine contains articles, opinion pieces and research papers on indigenous medicine, Ayurveda and medicinal qualities of various endemic plant varieties showcasing Sri Lanka’s rich Ayurvedic heritage and the potential of its dense medicinal herbal expanse.
