Installs NTB smart CRM machine at SLIC premises enabling comprehensive cash management and collection solution island wide

Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation (SLIC) has partnered with NTB Bank to provide a comprehensive cash management and collection solution with the installation of a ‘Smart ATM’ at the SLIC head office, an SLIC news release said.

“The comprehensive integration of systems provides features such as real-time account number validation, bill presentation and detailed receipt issuance to payees via Nations Trust Bank’s CRM network island wide,” it said.

Top management of SLIC and NTB were present at a ceremony marking the installation of the CRM machine, it said.

The machin enables SLIC policyholders to have safe, secure and hassle free Life and Motor insurance premium payments. Further it facilitates direct deposit capability for SLIC cash collections of the respective branches, the release added.

“The machine provides a customized interface bringing SLIC payments to the main screen. The facility is available 24X7 across the 58 CDM machines island wide which helps eliminate the risk on cash transportation and cost reduction of the cash collection handling process.

“A range of banking services are also available via the CRM machine to facilitate Credit Card payments (Nations Trust Master/Amex Credit Cards) and other payment including payments for utilities such as water, electricity and phone bills, card payments and even transportation solutions.”

Sri Lanka Insurance is striving to enhance the service experience of customers through innovative technological solutions and extending the effort further brings insurance closer to customers by providing them diverse channels for the ease of access and reach, the release added.
