Sri Lanka in the spotlight at Top Model of the World

I did mention in my article, ‘The right choice for Top Model of the World’, published in The Island of February 24th, that Sadani Peiris has all the qualities – Charisma, Confidence, Eloquent Speech, and, of course, a Winning Attitude – and that she is the right choice for the Top Model of the World competition.

Well, Sadani has done Sri Lanka proud by taking the second runners-up position (third) in the finals, held in Egypt.

The title of Top Model of the Word went to Mexico, with Colombia coming in second.

Sadani has been signed by Toabh Creative Model Management Pvt. Ltd., in India – a top international modelling agency that represents international models, connecting them with leading brands – and she has plans to move to Mumbai to begin her placement, where she will be exploring the commercial and high fashion sectors.

And, who knows! She may follow in the footsteps of Yohani of ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ fame who is now a mega star in India.

Sadani may turn out to be a sensation in the modelling and fashion field!
