Sri Lanka clinch Central Asian Volleyball title  

Sri Lanka men’s team beat hosts Bangladesh 3-0 in the final to win the Central Asian Challenge Cup Volleyball Championship in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The team captained by Lasidu Methmal scored 28-26, 25-20, 25-20 to disappoint the hosts and retain their unbeaten status.

When the two teams met during the group stage Sri Lanka beat them 3-1 (17-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-21).

Mahela Indeewara Bandara and Danushka Dilshan won the best attacker and best setter titles for Sri Lanka.
