Sri Lanka assumes chairmanship of COSCAP-South Asia

Director General of Civil Aviation AVM Sagara Kotakadeniya (Rtd) chaired the 31st Steering Committee Meeting of COSCAP - South Asia. Capt. Marie Zubryckyj, Chief Technical Advisor of COSCAP-SAis also in the picture.

The Director General of Civil Aviation & Chief Executive Officer Air Vice Marshall Sagara Kotakadeniya (Rtd.) assumed the Chairmanship of  Cooperative Development of Operational Safety and Continuing Airworthiness Program – South Asia (COSCAP – SA) at its 31st steering committee meeting being held in Paro, Bhutan from 06th to 09th May 2024

COSCAP – SA was established  in 1997 and has taken many steps to secure the safety of the civil aviation of the South Asian region.

In addition to members of COSCAP,  representatives from Airbus, Boeing, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Authorities of Britain (CAA-UK) and France (DGCA-France) attended the meeting.
