Sri Lanka Association of Vessel Operators AGM felicitates key stakeholders in the shipping industry

Sri Lanka Association of Vessel Operators (SLAVO), a significant body in the shipping trade felicitated the key stakeholders of the shipping industry at an event held recently at the Cinnamon Lake Side Colombo after their annual general meeting.

Gen. Daya Ratnayake, chairman Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Maj.Gen. Vijitha Ravipriya Director General of Customs, Sunil Jayarathne Additional Director General of Customs, Ajith Seneviratne Director General of Merchant Shipping, Capt Nirmal Silva, Harbour Master SLPA and CEO’s from 2 private terminals, Jack Huang from CICT and Romesh David from SAGT. Other distinguished guests were newly elected SLAVO chairman Shamal Perera, Arjuna Hettiarachchi, Marius Gomez and Saliya Senananyake, as senior members as well as other members comprising Stuart Zhu, Capt. Mohit Chaturvedi, and Mevan Peiris graced this occasion.
