This will be the first participation under the new rules for the sport which was revised and brought into force after the Covid 19 pandemic. The swimmers will be seeing the regional stage for the first time since 2019 with a few of the young swimmers who participated at the 10th edition of the championships in India.

The artistic swimmers will be seen in action in the solo and duet events.
