Sports Ministry grants Rs. 50 million for boxing  

Sri Lanka Boxing Association received a grant of rupees 50,124,540.00 from the Sports Ministry after the boxing governing body signed a memorandum of understanding with the latter on Friday. Director-General of the Department of Sports Development, Amal Edirisooriya and Dian Gomes, the president of the SLBA signed the document on behalf of the two parties. They are posing with the document as Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa, Abdullah Ibunu secretary SLBA, and other officials look on.
