“Speed up credit facilities for small and medium scale industrialists” – Minister of Industries

When the Ministerial Consultative committee on Industries met on Tuesday (06), Minister of Plantation Industries and Minister of Industries  Ramesh Pathirana  instructed ministry officials to discuss with  banks and speed up  providing  credit facilities to small and medium scale industrialists.

The minister added that the restriction of imports had resulted in the rapid growth of the industrial sector and the export income recorded in 2022 was 13.1 billion dollars.
