Special Dhamma sermon in memory of late Lokubandara

A special Dhamma sermon in memory of late Speaker W. J.M. Lokubandara was held at the Parliament premises on Monday (22) under the patronage of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.

The Dhamma sermon was delivered by the Most Venerable Aggamaha Pandita Ananda Mahanayaka of Trincomalee of the Bambalapitiya Siri Vajiramadhipathi, Amarapura Sri Dharmarakshita Maha Nikaya.

Family members of the former speaker Lokubandara, Leader of the House Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella, Ministers, MPs and Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake along with Parliament staff members, were present.
