Speaker, take over govt.

A government of national unity is impossible. The JVP is already opposed to Sajith Premadasa becoming the President and it is true for leaders of other parties as well. Their first priority is not the welfare of the country but to gain power. They will never unite to form a stable government.

Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena should be the President until the IMF money arrives.

Ranil Wickremesinghe should resign and the Speaker should appoint a new caretaker Prime Minister and Cabinet making sure that Ranil is given the Finance Portfolio until the IMF money arrives. Ranil should be allowed to continue the good work that he is now doing. He has a plan on how to use the IMF money.Any other solution is fraught with danger for the country.
