Speaker gets PCoI report on Easter Sunday carnage

On a directive of the President, the Director General (Legal) Presidential Secretariat Hariguptha Rohanadheera handed over the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) Report on Easter Sunday attacks to. Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena yesterday (23).

The report was presented to the Cabinet by the President himself at the Cabinet meeting chaired by him on Monday night (22). President Gotabaya Rajapaksa then instructed that steps be taken to present it to Parliament.

Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake was also present when the report was presented.
