SOS number needed to report power breakdowns
There was an electricity failure in our area last Thursday (Nov. 16) evening with some houses and offices having no electricity for a couple of hours whilst others had their power. When I went through one of the recent CEB bills to get a contact number to apprise them of the breakdown, there wasn’t any printed in it.
In order to contact the CEB, I had to ferret through one of the old files which had the multi-coloured offset printed bills (partly filled-in manually) which had the contact numbers for inquiries as well as those to contact in case of a breakdown printed on the front as well as on the obverse.
I request the CEB through the medium of your newspaper to incorporate this Care line / Door Step Service 24 x7 contact number in their new B/W digitally printed invoice which comes in a slip format to facilitate easy reference by the consumer in the event of a breakdown.
