Solve the administrative problems of Samurdhi officers before the upcoming budget – Prime Minister

The Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena instructed officials to solve the administrative problems of Samurdhi officers before the upcoming budget . The Prime Minister met officials of the Samurdhi officers trade unions to discus their grievances at Temple Trees on Monday (28).

The trade unions pointed out that there is a delay in the implementation of the decisions taken during the discussions regarding the issues that arose with the absorption of the Samurdhi Authority into a department while the officials explained the issues related to the ordinances, circulars and cabinet decisions that have hindered resolving these issues.
