SLT-MOBITEL donates four PCR machines to empower the health sector and safeguard communities

Chethana Attanayake - General Manager (Western Province-Central) and Anuruddha Suriyarachchi - General Manager (Marketing services) of SLT handing over the PCR machine to Major General Milinda Peiris - Vice Chancellor of General Sir John Kotalawala Defence University and Dr. Jayan Mendis - Executive Director of KDUH.

Helping to curtail the spread of COVID-19, supporting the Health sector, and protecting citizens overcome the pandemic; SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT and Telecommunications Service Provider, donated four PCR machines to selected hospitals islandwide. The machines were handed over to the Base Hospital, Karawanella; District General Hospital, Matale; the Hospital of the Kotelawala Defense University; and the District General Hospital, Matara. The donations are part of the company’s ‘Sabandiyawe Sathkaraya’ CSR initiative and the ‘Daana Paaramitha’ campaign. SLT-MOBITEL thanks all valued customers who contributed towards this great cause helping the nation’s healthcare systems and communities in need.
