“SLPP never learns”

Lotus Tower

The above I copied from the editorial of The Island (10/10). I disagree. They continuously learn and adjust themselves, according to the behaviour of our people who Never Learn. Take for instance the remarks make by the crowd who visits the Lotus Tower. They enjoy it and bestow merits on Rajapaksas and most of them think that the purpose of the Tower is to provide the people an opportunity to see the country, from a high elevation, or to get the reputation of having the highest tower in the South-East. They never link their present status of living, with the money borrowed and robbed during the construction of it. People, who cannot have three proper meals, gather in hundreds and applaud when the Mahindas, Namals, Pavithras and Rohithas et al who have over-fed frames yell about their future plans to bring Kiri and Peni to them.
