SLPA chairman meets Indian High Commissioner

The Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) – Keith D. Bernard met the High Commissioner of India Gopal Baglay at the Indian House in Colombo on 05th June 2023.

At the visit both officials discussed progress related to maritime connectivity between the two friendly nations and joint efforts between the two nations to develop the maritime sector in the region. The High Commissioner also thanked the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA), for its cooperation and expressed India’s interest to participate in future developments planned by the Port of Colombo (POC). The discussions also touched on collaboration to expedite ferry and cruise services between India and Sri Lanka.
