SLIC recognised at the Women Friendly Workplace Awards 2023

Sri Lanka Insurance (SLIC) was recognized at the Women Friendly Workplace awards 2023 under the special category for ‘Empowering Women Entrepreneurs with Life Insurance Agencies’.

The award ceremony was held recently at Marriot Courtyard, Colombo and the award was accepted by the senior management of Sri Lanka Insurance. The award ceremony was jointly organized by AICPA, CIMA & Satyn.  Furthermore, Namalee A. Silva Deputy General Manager/ Head of Marketing and Business Development was nominated in the category of “She Wins” individual awards showcasing her achievements and commitment as a female professional.

Chandana L. Aluthgama, Chief Executive officer of Sri Lanka Insurance commented, to be able to empower women to become entrepreneurs is a great accomplishment as an organisation. Winning the award for ‘Empowering Women Entrepreneurs with Life Insurance Agencies’ at the Women Friendly Workplace awards 2023 manifest our efforts as a company.
