SLCS signs MOU with AIA Insurance: Renews partnership for third consecutive year

AIA Insurance Sri Lanka of the AIA Group with over a history of over 100 years and the Sri Lanka Cancer Society (SLCS), a leading non- governmental, non-profitable organization with 73 years of dedicated service to cancer patients, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, on March 30, 2021, at the SLCS Headquarters, at 37/25 Butlers Lane Colombo 7.

This MOU saw the renewal of their partnership for the third consecutive year.

The signatories were Nikhil Advani, CEO of AIA Insurance and Nlhal Rodrigo, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Cancer Society. AIA will continue make a contribution of Rs 100/- to the Society for every new insurance policy sold.

AIA Insurance, the first Corporate Charity Partner, signed the initial MOU in 2019 to celebrate their Centennial Year. The renewal of the partnership is an acknowledgment of their commitment towards supporting the SLCS in caring for those suffering from Cancer. “Together we fight together we win”.
