SLAF Cessna makes emergency landing

An SLAF Cessna 150 made an emergency landing at Irrakkandy, north of Nilaveli yesterday (7) due to some technical fault. A senior official told The Island that the aircraft had made the emergency landing at 10.48 am after taking off from the China Bay air base at 10.22 am. The two pilots managed to touch down without causing serious damage to the aircraft, the official said.
