SLA contingent in Lebanon outside area of conflict

The Sri Lankan military contingent deployed in Lebanon under UN command was far away from the scene of current confrontations taking place along the Israeli-Lebanon border, military sources said.

The contingent consists of 120 officers and men mainly from the Artillery Regiment.
