SJB MP Harin Fernando self-isolates after meeting with Ranjan Ramanayake

SJB MP Harin Fernando has self-isolated after he came into contact with Ranjan Ramanayake when he was brought to his relative’s funeral at Negombo earlier this week.

Ramanayake who is at the Angunukolapelessa Prison tested positive with COVID-19 on Friday.

He is being treated at the Angunukolapelessa COVID-19 treatment centre.

“He’s out of danger”, Prison spokesman Chandana Ekanayake said

MP Ramanayake is serving a four-year prison sentence for contempt of court.
