SJB agriculture policy to be launched today

The Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) will launch it’s agriculture policy today near the Parakrama Samudraya, Polonnaruwa, with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa attending the event.

Party MP Nalin Bandara said that the policy would spell out how the SJB proposed to develop agriculture, empower farmers and apply technology. “A number of farmers and heads of farmer associations will attend the meeting. The last two years have been a bad time for farmers. We have studied the current difficulties as well as issues faced by farmers historically and these issues will be addressed.”
