Siyama clinches five gold medals at Sabaragamuwa Uni. convocation

Mohammed Ansar Fathima Siyama of the Department of Economics and Statistics won five gold medals at the 22nd General Convocation of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. She obtained BA Honours First Class in Economics with the highest final grade point average in the degree examinations. She was awarded the following medals: Honorable Lalith Athulathmudali Memorial Gold Medal – Best Academic Performance in the University, Honorable Dr. C.W.W. Kannangara Memorial Gold Medal – Best Overall Performance in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Prof. ADV de S Indrarathna Foundation – Gold Medal – Best Performance in Economics in the Department of Economics and Statistics, Mr. and Mrs. SJMHB Samarakoon Gold Medal – Best Performance in Monetary Economics and Applied Economics in the Department of Economics and Statistics and Most Ven. Balangoda Ananda Maitreya Memorial Gold Medal – Best Performance in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages.
