Six journalists test positive

Six of the journalists who cover Parliament have tested positive for COVID19. Some of them are asymptomatic.

Parliament journalists have been advised to undergo self-quarantine after a lobby correspondent tested positive last week. Several journalists who cover the Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing the Easter Sunday attacks have also undergone PCR tests.

Commission sittings were suspended last week after a police officer attached to the PCoI tested positive for COVID-19.
