Sinhalese Buddhists?

Sinhalese Buddhists in Sri Lanka are denounced for various misdeeds going on in the country. Is there such an organised group? Definitely NO. This is only a mythical group used by a certain political party to come into power. At election time, they say they need to come into power to safeguard this group. After the election, when delivering their maiden formal address, they say they were elected by this group. When troubles start due to incompetence and maladministration, they say they should be saved by this group. The world should be aware of this distortion and accusing Sinhala Buddhists as a group, whose actions are inimical to the interests of all other Sri Lankans who are not Sinhalese or Buddhists, should stop.
