Singer joins Sri Lanka Internet Day 2021 as Gold sponsor

The Federation of Information Technology Sri Lanka (FITIS) is pleased to announce that Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC has signed up to be a Gold Sponsor of Sri Lanka’s first Internet Day that was held on the 6th and 7th of April, 2021.

The two-day event had 40 sessions conducted by leaders and experts of the public and private sectors and over 15 key influencers were talking about their experience in the digital ecosystem. Over 10,000 session participants attended the event.

Various topics focusing on small and medium scale businesses, social media interaction, digitization in the future, and major factors that drive community engagement presented at the event. The event displayed Sri Lanka’s digital strategy, including digitization initiatives in the public and private sectors as well as showcasing national priorities that aim to enhance the country’s digital infrastructure to facilitate a digitally empowered ecosystem.

Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC is engaged in providing retail and wholesale marketing, financing, assembling and manufacturing, and financial services. The Company’s segments include consumer electronics, financial services, furniture, home appliances, information technology (IT) products, sewing, and others.
