Silk Republic adjudged Best Woman Entrepreneur of Southern Province

Silk Republic, a leading sari manufacturing trading company in Matara, was awarded the Best Woman Entrepreneur of the year at the recent Entrepreneurship Excellence – 2020 of Southern Province organized by the National Enterprise Development Authority in collaboration with Hambantota Chamber of Commerce and supported by Chambers of Commerce in Galle and Matara.

Chairperson, Silk Republic, Mrs. Poornima Abeykoon, received the award from Minister of Industries, Wimal Weerawansa, the chief guest. The company has also received many other awards during its history.
