Shammi Silva elected SLC President for third term 

During the Sri Lanka Cricket AGM, Shammi Silva was elected uncontested, as the President, for the term 2023 to 2025. The decision was declared by the Election Committee of SLC.

Silva’s election marks his third term in office as the President of SLC, and the second time, being elected uncontested.The rest of the office-bearers were also elected uncontested.

Accordingly, Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa and Ravin Wickramaratne will function as Vice-Presidents. Mohan de Silva will continue as Secretary.

Sujeeva Godaliyadda will be the  TreasurerChryshantha Kapuwatta will be the  Assistant Secretary

The position of Assistant Treasurer remained vacant due to the withdrawal of the nomination, and an appointment will be made in due course, as per Article 7 (I) of the SLC constitution.
