Sethpirith to invoke blessings on tourism development

A sethpirith ceremony was held at Ramada Hotel Frankfurt Financial District, Germany recently to invoke blessings on all tour operators in Germany as well all stakeholders in the tourism industry in Sri Lanka.
Honorary Consul Nihal S. Samarasinha organised the event.
Ramada Hotel Frankfurt currently functions as a COVID-19 test centre.
Samarasinha conducted the medical tests free of charge and organised the alms-giving and the overnight stay for Ven Dhamananda Thera of the Odenwald Buddhist Monastery in southern part of the state of Hessen. In his sermon Ven. Dhamananda commended President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s efforts to revive Tourism which is badly hit by the pandemic.
