Selection tests for Allama Iqbal Scholarship

The Higher Education Commission, Pakistan, recently conducted countrywide selection tests for the Allama Iqbal Scholarship programme, from 29th May to 4th June 2023. The test centres were set in Puttalam, Batticaloa, Kandy, Matara and Colombo. Students from all over the island participated in the test. It is encouraging to see that students from various ethnic groups and social status participated in the tests. The result will be announced in August and it is expected that the scholarship will be awarded to successful candidates by the Chairman, Higher Education Commission. The new study sessions will start October 2023 onwards, depending on subjects and Universities.
