Selco Lanka receives Central Province Star Award for Excellent Entrepreneurship

Selco Lanka (Pvt) Ltd,, one of the leading companies manufacturing chemicals such as thinner, wood preservatives and turpentine, was the recipient of the Star Award in manufacturing sector, medium category, at the Central Province Star Award 2020 organized by the Department of Industrial Development and Enterprise Promotions, Ministry of Industries of Central province.

MD, Selco Lanka, Nuwan Jayasooriya, received the award from Lalith U. Gamage, the Governor, Central province, chief guest at the awards night held at Grand Kandyan Hotel, Kandy recently.

“This achievement can be considered the result of our commitment to keep customers’ satisfaction as our top priority in line with our main objective of providing high quality, durable products. I must express my gratitude to all the members of our staff without whose support this award would have been futile. I also thank our customers who have trusted us right throughout our journey”, Jayasooriya said.

Selco Lanka has remained in the industry for over seven years distributing their products mainly in the central province and earning customers’ trust. Plans are in the pipeline to expand its distribution network across the country.
