The Cabinet of Ministers have granted approval for the proposal submitted by the Minister of Justice, Prison Activities and Constitutional Reforms to instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft a bill named Securing Residents Act which would repeal the existing Rent Act No. 7 of 1972.
