Second contempt case against Ramanayake before Supreme Court on 09 March

The second Contempt of Court case against Ranjan Ramanayake will be resumed on 09 March.

He has been charged with causing an affront to the dignity of judges. His Senior Counsel Anura Maddegoda was not present for personal reasons when the case was taken up in the Supreme Court yesterday.

The Supreme Court bench comprised Justice S. Thurairajah, Justice Yasantha Kodagoda and Justice A.H.M.D. Nawaz.
