Sathsara shines with hat trick as Lumbini beat Kingswood

Lumbini are enjoying one of their best seasons in Under 19 schools cricket tournament. Currently they are the leaders in their group in the Under 19 Division I Tier ‘B’ tournament. Over the weekend they recorded an innings and 107 runs win over Kingswood at Gampola.

They restricted Kingswood to 62 runs in the first innings with Ushan Sathsara taking six wickets including a hat-trick.

Sathsara rattled the Kingswood line up with impressive figures (5.5 overs, 13 runs, 6 wickets).

In their essay Lumbini made 258 for nine wickets declared with Dinitha Prabanka top scoring with less than a run a ball 80. Pasindu Maheesha made an unbeaten 68.In their second essay, Lumbini were dismissed for 89 runs with Ushan Sathsara and Shahan Kaushalya sharing seven wickets between them.
