Sandathi to meet Akeesha in the Under 12 singles final  

Top seed Sandathi Usgodaarachchi will encounter number two seed Akeesha Silva in the Under 12 girls’ singles title match of the Tennis Nationals 2022 after the duo won their respective girls’ singles semi-finals played at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts on Wednesday. Usgodaarachchi beat Yuhansa Peiris 6-4, 6-4 in the semi final and Akeesha Silva beat Annaya Norbet 6-1, 6-4 to book their final berths.

In the Under 12 boys’ singles semi-finals number one seed Risith Somarathne beat Minhas Muthuthantri 6-2, 7-5. Somarathne will meet the winner of the match between Rahil Rizvie and number two seed Ashlin de Silva in the final.
