Samson Compounds Pvt. Limited, a leading manufacturer of rubber compounds, celebrates its silver jubilee with a record annual turnover of Rs. 3 billion. Future events organized to mark the landmark occasion will be the Employee Felicitation ceremony for those completing 25 years of service, re-plantation of part of Kottawa conservation forest and religious events.

In addition to compounds processing, the company’s concentration centers around current trends such as sustainability, new technologies and increasing its presence in dynamic markets with product diversity of high quality rubber compounds. Its product portfolio includes custom rubber compounding, rubber sheets and mats, rubber molded products, EVA products, plastic and PVC products and roofing insulation sheets.

Standards and Compliance include ISO9001;2015, FSC Certification – FSC-STD-40-007, FSC-STD-40-004, FSC-STD-50-001. Compliance certifications include REACH, RoHS, PAH free, Phthalate free, other customer compliances.

The awards received by the company so far were ICQCC2020 – Gold Award (International Convention on Quality Control Circles), NCQP2020 Gold Award, two Silver Awards and one Bronze award, NCQP2019 – one Gold award, NCQP2018 – one Silver award and one Bronze award, NCQP2017 – one Bronze award, Sri Lanka Corporate Health & Productivity Awards – 2020 Medium category – Gold Award, Sri Lanka Corporate Health & Productivity Awards – 2018 Large category – Silver Award and National Productivity Awards 2018 – Commendation.

Samson compounds Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1996, but its operations functioned under the DSI flagship since 1962. The company’s Director board consists of Kasun Rajapaksa, Chandula Rajapaksa, Dilshan Rajapaksa, W. A. Cyril and Bhathiya Amarakoon.

The organization with a direct employee workforce of 450, exports its products to Australia, Fiji Islands, UK, Canada, Italy, Germany, Pakistan and Singapore.
