Saha wins Under 14 boys’ singles title

Saha Kapilasena won the Under 14 boys’ singles title of the HNB Clay Court Championship continued at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts on Tuesday.

The player from Elizabeth Moir School overcame a set defeat to beat Mayanka Perera 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 in the final.

Semi-finalists found in Open Women’s singles

Meanwhile, the semi-finalists of the Women’s Singles were found yesterday as Anjalika Kurera, Savini Jayasuriya, Janali Manamperi and Neyara Weeraesnsa won their respective quarter-finals.

Anjalika Kurera beat Denethya Dharmarathne 6-2, 6-2

Savini Jayasuriya beat Tuvini de Alwis 6-2, 6-4

Janali Manamperi beat Dewmini Warnasuriya 6-1 (Dewmini retired)

Neyara Weeraesnsa beat Hasali Gajaba 6-3, 3-6, 6-0.
