SAARC Women’s Association meets Indian HC

The President and Executive Committee of the SAARC Women’s Association (SWA – Sri Lanka Chapter) paid a courtesy call on the Indian High Commissioner, Gopal Baglay at India House recently.

Many areas of mutual interest focusing on culture and friendship between the countries in the region were discussed. The members of the SWA outlined their plan of action in the year 2022, with the hope of the country being Covid-free and the resumption of normal activities. High Commissioner Baglay assured the members of the cooperation that the High Commission could extend with a view to achieving the objectives of the association.
