Rohitha Bogollagama to assume duties as Lanka’s HC to UK

The High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom, Rohitha Bogollagama, is scheduled to commence his official duties on November 20, 2023, following his recent meeting with the High Post Committee, as reliably learned by the Sunday Island.
Rohitha Bogollagama, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, has held several significant ministerial positions in Sri Lanka, encompassing Industries, Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion, Advanced Technology, and National Enterprise. At one juncture in his illustrious career, he served as the Governor of the Eastern Province.
Bogollagama is an alumnus of Ananda College, Colombo, and has honed his legal expertise at the Law College of Sri Lanka.
