Returnees from India asked to attend mobile services

On the instructions of Justice Minister Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakse, PC, arrangements have been made to conduct two mobile services at the District Secretariat, Jaffna and Skills Development Centre, Kilinochchi on 31 Oct 31 and 01 Nov., respectively for the benefit of those who had returned to the North after fleeing to India years ago.

The Justice Ministry said that the mobile services conducted from 9 am to 4 pm on both days were meant to address their grievances. The ministry estimated the number of returnees at 12,500 belonging to about 7,000 families.
