Restrictions imposed on several areas

Several areas in the Akkaraipattu police division, Addalachenai and Alayadiwembu police divisions were declared isolated from yesterday (17) morning until further notice, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19, Lt. General Shavendra Silva said.

Akkaraipattu-5, Akkaraipattu-14 and city limit-3 coming under the Akkaraipattu police division, Palamunai-1, Oluvil-2, Addalachenai-8 of Addalachenai police division and Alayadiwembu- 8/1, Alayadiwembu-8/3 and Alayadiwembu-9 have been declared as isolated.

Meanwhile, Alupotha grama niladari division in Moneragala was also declared an isolated area, Gen. Shavendra Silva said.

Meanwhile Naseer Watte in Wellawatte too has been declared an isolated area.
